Community Partnership, Inc.
At Community Partnership, Inc., we believe that strong communities are built by lifting each other up. Since being designated by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to serve Butler County in 2018, we've been working hand-in-hand with the people of Butler County to tackle the root causes of poverty and create opportunities for a better future. As a community action agency, our mission is to provide support, resources, and advocacy to help individuals, businesses and families thrive. Because when our neighbors succeed, we all do.

Community Partnership, Inc
Building a Healthier, More Resilient Butler County
Welcome to Community Partnership, Inc, a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to decreasing poverty and making fresh, healthy food accessible to every resident of Butler County. With a focus on expanding food access in Butler County, agriculture, and community resilience, we’re working together to create long-term food security solutions that empower individuals and families all across the county.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to work with local partners for positive change in Butler County so that we can all live a healthy and complete life, in all it’s dimensions. Healthy communities offer economic opportunities for all residents. Citizens of these communities are stable, economically secure, and are engaged and active members of their local community.
We believe that access to fresh, nutritious food is a right, not a privilege. Our current goal is to bridge the gap across the county between local farmers, food producers, and residents, ensuring that everyone (regardless of income or location) has access to healthy, affordable food choices.
The core mission of Community Action Agencies is to counteract the causes and conditions of poverty for their core communities, and that is our core mission here at Community Partnership, Inc as well.

Get Involved!
Be part of a movement that’s changing the food landscape in Butler County!
Whether you want to learn how to grow your own food, support local farms, or help distribute fresh produce to those in need, there’s a place for you in our community.
Here are some projects we could always use assistance with, if you are looking to get involved:
We need continuous help with clearing the Artisan Resiliency Center property, bagging up trash, clearing paths, getting areas ready for growing, and a whole lot more!
Got extra seeds?? We are starting a seed library at the Butler Library! Donate any extra seeds to help someone else feed their family and friends, or simply enjoy the magic of gardening!
We are always accepting both bagged leaves for our compost and non-perishable food items for our food pantry and other assistance programs
Want to get some hands on experience gardening? Come help us this summer to weed, water and harvest at our production field (771 Mercer Rd)
Once our FreeSA Produce Box program picks back up this summer, we will always appreciate any assistance with packing the FreeSA Boxes
We are planning on creating a tool library for the Butler County community as well and will happily accept any old tools you are willing to donate!
